oh boy..
Yep, I think you may be a little down. Remember you have just had major surgery. I am somewhat concerned about the "itchy". Do you have a rash? Are you having a reaction to the pain medication? Vicodin or anything like it (oxycodone and such) make me itch big time. So I take dilaudid. So far as how things look -- what it looks like now is not what it is going to look like a few weeks from now.

Yes, everything you are experiencing I would call normal. My wounds were itching like crazy from the steri-strips; I was so glad when I could finally take those off. The areas on my back where I was lipo-ed are STILL itchy and numb at the same time...awful feeling.
As to the results: you should not judge this early out! Some things are swollen; some are bruised; etc., etc. I am 7 weeks post op and I STILL look at myself at times and say "ugh". So be patient for now and trust the process.
Good luck.

I have had very little pain from the beginning but the itchiness is driving me nuts. I too look at my belly and think how lumpy and bumpy it is but am told this is probably swelling so I am trying to remember that when I think negatively. I dn't have a waist line now and thought I would :(
I go back to dr tomorrow and hope to have my drains removed and to be told all is normal and will get better in time.
Try to cheer up and keep us posted and I have heard that it can take several months for any ps to show it's true color.
