Update and pictures

Last night was my first night home and although we're still trying to get into a routine, things went really well.

I'm in one recliner and DH is in the other.  Once I'm more able to do more for myself, I told DH he can go sleep in the bed if he wants.  Although when I'm gone during the work week he sleeps in the recliner anyway.  LOL 

Pain is managable with meds and I'm moving pretty good with minimal pain.  There are times when I move the wrong way or too quickly and it hurts a lot more.

I have my first follow up on Tuesday, the doctor already said that the drains in my arms will come out then.  I'm looking forward to the appointment.

Wow Lisa, your arms look great and thanks for sharing your pics. I hope your recovery goes smoothly and quickly and I can't wait to see your arms when they are all healed up.

Im so glad everything turned out fine and that you are feeling okay at home. I saw your pictures..... all I have to say is "OUCHH!" but you will do so great results. I can't wait for me!!!

Thanks everyone.  I keep telling DH that I am so thrilled with the results.  Looking at before and after pictures from various surgeon's sites are one thing but it was the before and after pictures of the folks who posted theirs here that really helped me.  So thank you to those folks who shared their pictures.

Sandie - you WILL have your day!  I am confident that your iron will get to where it needs to be.  Oh and you know before I left the hospital, I did get IV iron.  I thought of you as they were setting me up with it.

Congratulations!! I'd love to be your "friend" so I can see the before/after...I had brachioplasty on April 1st but haven't posted before/after photos yet.  When I do, I'd be glad ot have you look @ them...I'm pretty pleased with my resulfs thusfar.  Thanks!
