I've been in frenzy mode all day today- frenzied grocery shopping, housecleaning, exercising, getting everything in order to leave for Houston on Monday. I hope I calm myself down before we leave. I think I was much calmer before my rny than I am now. Will have a lbl, ba/bl, and Brazilian butt aug. Will be in Houston for 2 weeks after surgery, then home sweet home.

Been there done that plenty of times! I always kept myself so busy that I hardly had time to think about the actual surgery for doing and thinking of what needed to be done BEFORE surgery. I always tend to over prepare but it always worked out great in the end. Most of us have someone who can run out to the store when we get home for us anyway so its not like we will do without.

Good luck with your surgery next week.. I'm sure you will love your results! Dr L is great!

Thanks! DH is going with me, but the kids are staying behind. I will be well taken care of up there and at home, for sure. And yes, you are right- Dr. Lo is TERRIFIC. I just want to magically wake up and have it be June 2. Well, it will be soon enough.

I hope you have a safe and uneventful surgery except for having stellar results! I had to cancel part of my surgery due to lack of funds but will be having an extended arm lift in a month. I am very excited about it. If you are still in that frenzied cleaning mode you are welcome to work it off at my house. Jolyn

Hi Jolyn,

That made me smile because I even thought about going to my sister's house and to my parents' to see if they needed anything done. Don't get discouraged with having to cancel part of your surgery. The arm lift is a great start and little by little it will fall into place. Thanks for the good wishes!

Congrats! Start now by letting your husband cook dinner, serve it, and clean up while you relax, pack, repack, and paint your nails! Hoping for an easy recovery with wonderful results for you. Safe travels,

Thanks! Sadly, I had to take off my acrylic nails for the surgery. That will have to wait, but the others sound like winners to me!

It looks like we are surgery sisters! I'm right there with ya! I'm running around like a chicken with my head cut off getting everything ready before my surgery on Tuesday. I have been too busy to even think about the surgery. I'm having my second round of plastics (bl/thoracoplasty/full thigh lift). I had lbl/brachio on 3/30. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. We are on the same page- the stool softeners were the first thing I set out! How long will you be in the hospital? I will certainly be praying for you, too. I've heard great things about Dr. M.
