What can  do to alleviate the swelling bloated feeling I am feeling? i had anchor cut, and I am feeling pains where I was not even cut, is this normal? My binder is not as super tight as I thought it wouldbe either.  My skin seems like it is pulled so damn tight. I am sore, miserable, and cranly. Ifeel like a blowfish. Will it ever go away?

I had my TT on Thursday and my binder is the opposite, it is so tight I can barely breathe, but on the upside swelling is not an issue yet.

Are you taking you pain meds ? I find if I am late taking mine I am *****ie big time!

I also have my arms done, so I am not missing a dose of the pain meds LOL..those sukka's hurt!

Did you have muscle repair? That causes the super tight feeling. I always got a lot of relief by icing myself down. A couple bags of frozen peas wrapped in a dish towel. It really helped with my swelling and pain. You might need a smaller binder as well so you're getting good compression. Hang in there!

It sounds like your binder may not be providing a lot of compression. If you had the muscle tightening then that is contributing to the tight feeling along witht he swelling. Drink plenty of water and stay away from sodium and keep your feet up above your heart to help alleviate the swelling. Unfortunately swelling is part of the healing process. It will get better with time.
