Tummy tucked and I am home. I am in a lot of pain and and keeping my pain pills at my side. I got a bonus with this surgery my blodd pressure is low enough that I haven't taken any blood pressure meds in the past 24 hours. God is good and I thank him for the bonus. We just got new living room furniture and this recliner is coming in handy. Perfect place to sleep. LOL Take care and I will check in later. I am open for all suggestions on this part of the journey.

Stay on top of those pain meds!
No need to hurt if you don't have to.
Best wishes...and thanks for the kind words.
I'll pray for you too. :)

Congrats on the bonus!

I just had my first round of procedures and just got home last night.  I second the staying on top of pain meds and don't over do it.

Remember though that you do have to get up and move a little to keep the blood flowing.

Good luck with an uneventful recovery.

God is good! I'm so grateful for all He has done for us. Congrats on your sucessful surgery and lowered blood pressure!  Like the other girls said, stay on top of the pain, get up and move around for 5-10mins every hour or two that you are awake,  also don't forget to take stool softeners. Constipation is no fun. I'm praying for a speesdy and blessed recovery for you. Take care. God bless you.

Congratulations on your surgery.  Get plenty of rest and don't be afraid to take your pain medication, especially the first couple of days.  I will continue to keep you in my prayers during your recovery.

I hope you continue to do well.  Like others have said stay on top of the pain and take the stool softeners as long as you are taking the pain pills.  Set a timer if necessary to remind you to get up and walk, even if it is just a couple of steps.  In a few days you will really start to feel better but it is important to keep in mind the restrictions your surgeon gave you on lifting things and stretching.  Try not to panic when you start to swell -- it is perfectly normal.  Wear your binder and it will not only provide support to the surgical area but will help with the swelling.
