Yesterday was the first of my surgeries.  When I saw the surgeon this morning and he came in excited.  He undid all the dressings and showed me his work.  It's all looking really good.

I had one little episode where my blood pressure dropped super low but I was alright enough to come home today. 

I'm feeling okay, I'm on pain meds so that's helping.  I'll be posting pics soo enough.

I'm curious, does the Dr. know why your blood pressure dropped?  I guess that's one of my concerns, not sure why since I've always had pretty good blood pressure.

We talked about it this morning.  He didn't say specifically why it dropped but he says it happens to everyone.  But as the day gets on, everything resumes back to normal. 

The first time you get up, you're not alone or at least you shouldn't be.  Someone should be there walking with you for that exact reason.  I can't say that for any surgery I had that the first time I got up I was on my own.
