Before and After Pics - help day 8

Thanks for the reply. I have not taken any pain pills since the 3rd day. I do not have a fever and no soreness at all,  just some itching and pink in places on skin around incision. My husband thinks it looks fine and says if it was infection that it would be darker and look different.
Two more days and I go back to have drains out and can see what the Dr thinks.

Thank you! My main concern I guess it the right side at the end of the incision. I do not know of they is what I hear people talk about being dog eared. I will definitely ask about this Tuesday at my appointment. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my results.

I can see them now. I had the idea you just had a pannilectomy, rather than a tummy tuck, but your results are too nice to just be just a panni, lol. I think you'll smooth out when the swelling subsides, and will be happy. Heck, I'd be thrilled with the current results you have swelling and all.

I also wouldn't sweat about the dog ears until things settle too, since healing fixes a lot of things. Even if you do need a small revision on them, I've heard it's no big deal. You may want to try some of the silicone tape stuff for scar healing and see if that can help the sides heal smoothly.

Thanks and yes, I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair. I will definitely be satisfied since it is a 100% improvement. I am just so anxious to see if the lopsided part of my belly is just swelling. I go back to the dr Tues. and can't wait.
Is the silicone tape something I can pick up at the store or something I need to check with the dr about?

Some surgeons offices will supply it, and you may be able to get it at some drug stores, but most who have recommended it here on OH suggested buying it on line, like at amazon or eBay to get better prices. It's a little pricey, so many buy the larger pieces, and cut several strips out of a sheet.
