Before and After Pics - help day 8
I finally figured how to get the pics on here. I hope you can see them if not I may need help on how to set it so that you can. Now, I need help.
I hope you can see this on the pic. I have heard about being dog eared. My right side at the end of my incision at my hip sticks out much more than my right side. My left side look lumpy at the same area. Does it take a while for the to smooth out or is there something more that needs done to correct this? My belly is not flat like everyone talks about. It is still lumpy. Is this from swelling do you think or is this the way it is going to be when the swelling goes down?
My incision itches as well as my skin around it. Does this sound normal at 8 days out? What is a solution for this?
My binder I am sure causes the redness since I am in it at all times. But does anyone go without theirs for a while everyday? I was told only had to wear for comfort !?!
Today has been miserable with the itching, and my drain tubes. I go back on Tuesday and hopefully will have drains removed but I am not sure if they are ok. My left drains only about 5ml in 24 hrs and my right about 30ml.
Thank you all for your help!

I went ahead and sent you a friend request. My profile is private even to my friends. I don't blog on it and there isn't much to see except for pics of my kids and dogs.

I am concerned about not being flat. I am hoping it is from the swelling. Being new to this it is hard to tell about the way the sides look, mostly my right side at end of incision.
Thanks

Thanks for the support. I sure hope it is just some swelling. I guess I will start looking at some other pics. jenn
