I Made It To Mexico

My fiance and I arrived here about an hour ago and are just getting settled in our room... The experience thus far is VERY overwhelming, in a good way... I am VERY excited and cannot wait until my surgery tomorrow morning... Thus far everything is going okay and I pray that it continues... As usual I will be posting before and after pictures... BTW: My Tummy is HORRIBLE and I hope that Dr. S can improve it... I am having an extended TT w/ anchor incision and arm lift... I had a breast reduction 2 weeks ago in Philadelphia that I am happy with... Was just looking in the mirror and saying to myself, "should have added a small thigh lift", but honestly my thighs are fine and I am going to try to be content with what I am having done... I need to be grateful that I was financially able to go through with this whether here or in the states and that I have someone to travel with... I am proud of the patients who are able to come here alone and take on this very important task... Good luck to everyone and I will keep you all updated.

I'm so glad that you arrived safely!  You will certainly be in my prayers for complete success and a very easy recovery!  Enjoy your trip and I'm glad that your fiance went with you.  IMO, it's best to have someone with you when you go into other countries!  May God cover you both with His divine protection - in Jesus Name, Amen!  :)

I can't wait to see your after pics.  I'm having a BL on July 1st, and your photos encouraged me so much.  Now I'm so excited to have mine done, and I'm praying for beautiful results just as you have!

Thanks soooo much... I was telling Dr. S assistant who picked us up from the airport, that initially you are like wow it only cost this much or that much for Dr. S, and then eventually you start to see his past patients and say, wow look at what this guy can do it... I am VERY comfortable and again it feels soooo unreal... I am glad I had my BL local because they were soooo bad that now Dr. S can have all the time to concentrate on my messy tummy...

I was just saying the other day I need to be content with where I am. I have a lot of bills (high deductible and low home health coverage and some RX stuff) that insurance didn't pay when I got the infection. It could be worse. I look great and need to be happy with that. It's hard to find that happy spot though huh?

Hey Leah, Of course I wish that you NEVER got an infection BUT everything happens for a reason and compared to before you look amazing and dropping those sizes in your clothes is enough to be content with ur decision... You gave me hope because I always say that our tummys are similar post op and your results are stunning w/o an anchor cut so it makes me feel that I will be okay... Hard for me to imagine that in just less than 24 hours I will be back in my room recovering with a flat tummy... I do not believe it so I am still in shock over the possibility... But again you look amazing and I hope to look as good as you when said and done.

Thanks so much for the post... My BL was performed by Dr. Emily Pollard and was covered under my insurance with a $250 copay... She performed a reduction/lift on 3 other co-workers.
