When your PS does a LBL does it always have to pull your vagina up to a place where it looks like it's staring back at you ?

Oh okay I was worried about them maybe pulling it up to my armpits and that is not a look I really want to sport around KWIM.
I sure as hell hope not, since the vagina is an internal organ! ;)
Yeah, the labia are high and tight, but I only had my gut done...so when they pull it all back into place this summer when my butt lift happens, all should be right again in the ol' hoo ha.

So if I don't have the rear end lifted then that means my uh uh lady bits will be smiling at me ?
Not necessarily. I had an extended tummy tuck but nothing done to my backside. I also had an inner thigh lift. Between those 2 procedures I had a great improvement to the appearance of my girly bits! LOL
After my weight loss and prior to plastics I looked puffy and, well just not very feminine. My surgeon did a fantastic job in lifting and tightening that area. Reminds me of when I was a teenager and nothing looks odd or unusual.

That is reassuring. I went to the OH conference last weekend in Costa Mesa and I saw some PS pictures where the girls va jay jay was RIGHT THERE and I was like OMG Noooooo, I am not going to do that if my va jay jay ends up in a different zip-code.
Hi Pumpkin,
I went to the conference too, and sometimes I'm really surprised at the photos. I would look at the different doctors, and see whose technique you like better, and always ask if you are not sure! Also realize that your hair line will be lower than it might be now, because of the cut at your pubic line. I know that I used to have hair further up, and now that isn't the case, and that can make things in that region look different. Due to my thigh lift scars, I also don't get hair as far out to the sides, and I cannot stand for hair to grow near my thigh crease scars or near the scar at my pubic bone. Because of this, I now get regular bikini waxes - something that I wouldn't have even thought of before. I just find that if the hair starts growing in near the scars, it is uncomfortable for me -- no idea why it bothers me so much. Also, I had several drains placed for serveral different surgeries in my groin/crotch area, and I don't like hair near those scars either - so it all gets trimmed, waxed or shaved depending on the balance of my checkbook, and area.
You may find that one procedure leaves you feeling more "exposed" and another procedure somewhat corrects that. Some of that may change over the course of 6 months or so post surgery as things really heal and settle. Many of the photos were after just a few weeks, and things are still healing and your final result be be a bit different.
One of the things that concerned me at and after the conference is that several of the surgeons who had booths were not board certified. I know that it is just my opinion, but if they had the term "cosmetic" surgeon, or were not proudly displaying that they were board certified I would not use them. Just my opinion due to my complications and my difficulty healing. I would want to make sure that my surgeon really knew the ins and outs of not only doing such a big surgery, but managing patients through a difficult recovery. Of the PS booths there, only 4 were board certified in Plastic Surgery. I asked at the booths that it was not obvous. Be careful when choosing your doctor!

" I cannot stand for hair to grow near my thigh crease scars or near the scar at my pubic bone. "
Thanks Jennie,
I had not even given this part any consideration and I'm glad you brought it up. That is something very important to consider, I don't think that I have ever seen that addressed here in this forum, which is surprising considering how irritating growing pubic hair can be when it's growing in a place it was not meant to be.
You may find that one procedure leaves you feeling more "exposed"
THIS is exactly what I was worried about.
Again Thank you for your reply.

Mine finally looks normal. I have never known what that was like since I was overweight all my life. My dr cut a little bit of the excess skin that had been stretched at the top of the pubic area when I had my LBL and I am just amazed at what a great job they did. Even my thigh lift scars run along the sides of my pubic area in my groin and are perfectly placed in the crease and you can't even see it. It's amazing what a good surgeon can do!
