on pain meds

 I have had my consult with my p.s. and I only have medicare. he said medicare never  pre-approve, so we will file it and hope they pay.
I have a huge mass in my panny area that they call a fluid filled cyst. I have had this for at least 10 years, ut not as large as now. my stomach hangs almost to my knees. it is so heavt. I have lost 145lbs. but slowly. still need to lose more.
I am on percocet for cronic pain and am concerned how I will be able to manage my pain afterwards. my dr. want me o decreas my meds and I think I won't be able to. I have been on then for years and know I am dependent.
my question is do anyone know of a situation similar to this? I would like any feedback.
I also had a bile duct blockage about 2-3 years ago and i t was horrible.had to have tube in the belly so it could be streached. I think they fixed it. buut that another post.
