Knee lipo?

In a few weeks, I am having a back lift and thigh lift with knee lipo.  Has anyone else had knee lipo?  If so, what were your results?  Did it make a big difference?

I had knee lipo a couple of months ago. It was a little sore and a bruised for a couple of weeks but not that bad. I had a thigh lift with that so compared to that it was nothing. My knees look much better but they aren't perfect either. I never liked my knees to begin with but at least I don't have those fatty bumps on the inside of my knees anymore.

So glad you posted.  I need some knee lipo too after the thigh lift last year and was wonderfing how much it helped and changed what you didnt like .
Was there a big difference and do you by chance have any pics ?  I had always heard Lipo wasnt safe in the knee and calf but guess that isnt so ..
I  am having lipo to butt back and outer thigh and my surgeon says he is 80 % sure I wont need a butt lift and is doing this .
Funny because I have alot of junk in the trunk LOL so just have a hard time beleiving this fact..
Anyway need a revision on the knees as I said too and was curious as to how much it helped.
Actuall mine is on the front of the leg beneath the knee where i want it done.
Thanks for posting
Hugs

Yes there is a noticeable difference.  My lipo was in my inner knee area only going upwards toward my thighs, not my calves.  I can’t say there is anything I don’t like because it was a great improvement but it’s just how I’m built.  You can’t blame a surgeon for that.   How much you “retract" depends on a lot of things plus your age I think.  Young skin retracts better than older skin KWIM?  Mine has retracted fairly well considering I’m nowhere near my 20s.  I really expected it to sag but it hasn’t.  Hopefully your surgeon is right and you’ll do great without a lift.  Most experienced surgeons have a good eye as to who will do well with just lipo.  I will try to post pictures this weekend.  I’ve got to see if I have some good before pictures.

My first procedure post weightloss was SmartLipo of the inner/outer thighs and inner knee
(blobs of fat).  I was very happy with all of it; however, my doctor told me he couldn't do what I probably hoped for because the more he took out the more loose, wrinkly skin I'd have.
But how all areas turned out made me a very happy camper.  After a brachioplasty and
breast lift I am now considering a thigh lift (Sharpei-type legs).  If I do have it I will ask him to
lipo even more from the outer thighs and knees.  But at this time I don't even know if he'd do
that.  Good luck!   BARB

I'm so happy that I'm not the only one who is soooo unhappy with my saggy knees. I have always been self conscience about them and have NEVER worn skirts/shorts that exposed them. I was scheduled to have lipo on them 9 weeks ago along with my LBL, but my surgeon and I decided to wait until after my LBL to re-evaluate my knees...well they're still saggy, but I was afraid removing the fat, the skin wouldn't "bounce back"(I'm 44, no young perky skin here)...then what would it look like!?!? I'd love to see pictures of women who've had the procedure!
