Weight loss after LBL?

I had 6.5lbs of skin removed during surgery and when I weighed in at about 4 weeks post op I had lost a little over 8lbs. I am still swelling on and off and my weight seems to go go up and down a couple of lbs depending on how swollen I am so I'm not really sure what my actual weight will be when all is said and done. I was a size 6 before surgery and now I bought a pair of size 4 capris and they are so loose I have to use a safety pin to keep them up. I think how much you weigh after depends on a lot of individual factors.
