Ack.. I had my consult today!!

Have you looked at the option of needing any of this surgery due to medical need. IE: tummy tuck because the skin overhangs and is causing it to breakdown inbetween, that insurance covers. There is a chapter on this information in the book, 'Weight loss surgery for Dummies'. Chapter 22. Go to the library or bookstore and sit and read rather than buy. 

As you said maybe you need to ask in a particular way, and if certain problems are mentioned they may respond differently. I don't know if this will help, I hope so in some small way.
