UPDATE!!! My IRON story.... to be continue....
Well, it is 9:06am in breezy, drizzly Southern California. Grrrrrr! (my hair is frizzzy!)
Anyways, In a hour I will be going to my other Primary Doctor to see if I get surgery clearance from her. She cleared me for my Gastric Bypass in July 2008. We shall see how I do. I'm not going to give her the whole story about my 2nd Primary doctor that has said no to my surgery. Grrrrr! I'm going to keep quiet.

You need to let her no how low your blood levels are. If you lose any blood during your surgery and your levels go any lower, you could go into shock. It could be very dangerous. They do these preop tests for a reason. They are for your protection.. You also won't heal properly if you are that anemic. Please wait and take the necessary iron to get your levels up before having your surgery. You won't regret it. I sent you another post on your original post recommending some great iron supplements that will get your iron up much quicker.
Seeing 2 different primary doctors and keeping things from them is not a good idea. They can't treat you properly.
