I had a LBL with anchor cut on  April 16th. I have a small egg shaped lump right below my incision. It is a little painful if I stretch or bend. I have an appointment with my surgeon but wondering if any of you guys ever had this?  I have been thinking lypnode (sp ?) but not really sure.  Any thoughts would be great.

First thought that comes to my mind is Hernia. After surgery sometimes the tissue will be so thin it couold cause a hernia. It is repairable, but through another surgery.

Does anything come out of it?  Usually around surgical incisions, seromas can develop.  I had one when I had my hysterectomy.  It's basically a build up of fluid.  It will build up until it can find a way out.  In my case, I saw my doctor and he drained it by pressing on it and I had to keep it clean.

That's one possibility - but your doctor is the one to best dx you.

Good luck.

Edited to add - I'm not saying to put any pressure on it at all - unless your doctor tells you it's okay.  Mine leaked on it's own and once it did, I called the doctor.  I followed his orders for care.

Thanks that is one I had not thought of.  Thanks to all that replied to my post. I hate when people take the time to read what you post but in no way respond to you. Thanks again for taking the time to try and help.

I wouldn't worry too much about people *****ad posts but dont' respond.  They don't know what the post is about until they read it.  It would be easier to to read only responses rather than people post "sorry can't help"
