GAS

OMG...I take probiotics already and in the last week or so my gas is sooo bad! Any ideas what else could be causing this? Does lack of protein or too much dairy cause this?? TMI...sorry!

Are still taking pain medication?  Did you take antibiotics?  Yes, too much diary can cause gas.

No pain meds, no antibiotics. I am going to definately cut the dairy...

Let us know if cutting out the diary helps.  If it does not help and if you start having diarrhea you might want to talk to your surgeon.  While you may not have taken an antibiotic chances are that you were given one in your IV when you had your surgery.  This could upset the normal balance of bacteria in your intestines.
