They Are Gone

I had my breast reduction yesterday @ 11 am yesterday and was crying and crying when I found out that I was no longer a 34 DD/36 D and am now a B cup... She did an excellent job with da lift and symmetry but the initial shock was hard for me... She also addressed the side loose skin which was very annoying... After thinking about the issues I had with my flat saggy breast, I got over and am thankful... I am also appreciative to  e able to afford my arm lift and TT so I cannot complain... I will also be planning to have implants ASAP... The surgeon here charges 5k and Dr. S charges 7k for implants, lipo, and fat injections... Financially my fiance and I can do this but I have to consider school and work... i am still @ da hospital and will post before and after pictures when I get home.

I'm sorry it was such a shock for you but I can understand how it would be. I'm confused as to why you would have a reduction and then get implants? Couldn't you have gotten the lift with implants and avoided the reduction? That's how mine was done. All in one surgery. My breasts were mostly skin and the implant along with the lift filled everything in nicely.

I hope you have a great recovery and I look forward to seeing your pictures. You looked great before, I'm sure you look awesome now!

hey renee... Thanks for responding... the surgery was covered by insurance and they do not allow the implant at the same time... i was hoping to be at least a C to avoid implants... i will see how i look after da arms and TT and arms and then go from there

That makes sense. You'll have a better idea of what your proportions are once everything is done. Once the tummy is flat and the arms are slimmer often times it makes the breasts appear larger. Waiting to see your final outcome is a good idea.  I wish you the best!

I can imagine that the process is very emotional even if you know you are headed in the direction you want to be.  I can't wait to see your pics!

Wishing you a speedy recovery & then off to see Dr. S! Yeah!

Keep us posted on how you are feeling.

Take care,

Who did your breast reduction?  I'm not too far from Philly  :O)
I went from a 42 DDD to a 36D cup thats all filled with skin.
I'd love to have just a reduction, no implants.  I'd also like to have a TT/ Body lift and arm lift.
I can't wait to see pix's, you lucky girl you!!

Glad to hear you are doing well post op. Sorry you were so upset and are a little disappointed but I agree with Renee. I had LBL/Brachio and my breasts appear HUGE now (I'm a 34D LONG, most of that is skin) Now that my waist is small, it looks as though I had a boob job. Once the extra skin is removed it makes your breasts look larger. I'm having a BL/thoracoplasty/thigh lift on 6/1. I'm hoping to be a C but I think a B would also look proportionate. IMO wait until you are done and healed with your surgeries until you make your final decision on implants. I will keep you in my prayers. I'm sure you will be thrilled with your new body when all is done! God bless.

I totally agree with Renee and Sandi. After my reduction, I felt that I went too small. But, after I had a LBL w/anchor cut, they look bigger and more proportionate. Wait a few months after your tummy tuck and then decide. Good luck and remember your protein.
