Is this realistic?
Hi I just wanted some opinions on if people think i'm being realistic with my PS plans. I'm having a LBL on 05/19 with lipo of thighs. on 06/17 I'm having arms done and then on 07/21 i'm doing BL and thigh lift. I know it is so crammed in together but due to work and school, summer was my only option. I know it will be painful and a long recovery but do you think it's possible? any imput is greatly appreciated. I am so excited and scared at the same time.

It depends on two things - you and your doctor.
What I'm having done and when is in my siggy. As you can see, it's a lot and it's 5 weeks apart. For work reasons, that is why I am doing it the way I am doing it. I talked with my doctor and he's has had one other patient do it the same way; although he said many want to go the same route but realize after the first surgery not quite ready enough for the second.
I know how my body recovers as these are not my first surgeries. I'm prepared for the recoveries as best I can be.
You and your doctor have to both be comfortable going with an aggressive route.

Personally I think its way too aggressive.....is it doable...sure....but you may find your healing gets slower and harder as you do each additional procedure. You body just doesn't have time to fully heal before you go back in. Hey, there are surgeons out there who will do the whole works in one very long procedure but I don't think it is advisable...
That's just my 2 cents.....you gotta follow your gut.\
Best wishes!

I had my BL/BA and brachio five weeks after my LBL. Its a personal decision, but as long as you and your dr are comfortable with it, and as long as your labs come back ok, and as long as you do nothing else but rest and heal, then why not ? Good luck!

I'm with Ruth. It is a lot to do close together. It can be done but you will feel more exhausted with each surgery and hopefully recovery will be smooth for you. My dr likes to do them 6 months apart but will do them at 3 even though he does not advise it. As they say, PS is not a race.
Good luck,

Is it a lot to be done...Yes....Is healing a little slower?.....Yes....Is is doable?....That is between you and your doctor. I had my TT w/ MR done and then 3 weeks later a Bottom lift with implants. Was I sore, ABSOLUTELY! I took a long time time to recuperate but I had the time and I did it. However, I am a nurse and I know what needed to be done and I did it. I took extra Iron (per my PMD) and I took extra calcium (Per my Oncologist) and I took extra protein in the way of cheese, beans, shakes (per the PMD, Bariatric Surgeon and Plastic Surgeon). I also had a great support system with someone caring for me for 3 weeks after my last surgery. I went back to work in about 6 weeks after the last surgery. Would I do it again?...YES! I am very happy I did it this way. It was easier to handle when I did. Good luck and Happy Healing!!
