Update on my update about yesterdays Lymph Drainage Massage

I had my first Lymph Drainage Massage yesterday.......as I said then I felt it might have helped a little because it took away the awful tight feeling in my calves and feet.

UPDATE......
I kept all compression garments off yesterday  PLUS I did 30 min aerobic workout on the Wii after my massage.  I slept with no compression garments for the first time in 2 weeks.

I woke up this morning and for the first time I did not wake up with super fat ankles, feet and toes.
Don't get me wrong....the massage was not a miracle by any means, I am still swollen in my calves, feet, toes  BUT, I do see/feel an improvement.
Today I have again been compression free........I went to an appointment this morning and ran to the drug store for a few things and I am not any more swollen than I was at the start of the day.  So, I think this is a good thing.

I'm drinking extra water today and when I can I'm laying down with my legs elevated even if it is only for 30 mins or so.

I called to see if the therapist thinks it would be a good idea to do another session tomorrow or Fri instead of waiting until next week......I want to just add to the benefits I'm feeling.  :-)

I'll keep you posted.

Wow, that's great! I'm so happy for you Ruth. I hope this continues to reduce your swelling and you soon will have swelling no more! Best to you. God bless.

I'm scheduled again next Monday and depending on how I feel may do it again next Thurs so that will be twice a week...I think I like that idea better than just once a week.
PLUS I'm trying to schedule a trip home to see my family and do not want to go if I'm having major swelling issues....so hopefully this will resolve soon cause I miss my mom and dad and grandpa (and my sisters and brothers and BFF).

Thanks!
