SIZE???

I was just wondering what size you were before TT and how many sizes you went down after TT ( after healing and swelling is done)  Will I need to save some money up to buy new clothes after my TT or will I be fine in the clothes I'm wearing now?  Just thought I would ask.

Hey... You can search but there was a very good thread that many posted to... I will try to find it.

I started in a size 12 before my LBL. After the surgery I was able to get in a size 10. However my thighs still needed to be done and caused me from getting in a smaller size even though my waist was small enough. After I had my thighs done I went from a size 10 to a size 6.

I'm glad you asked this, cuz I'm wondering the same thing.

I'm still hovering within a few pounds between normal BMI, to the bottom of overweight BMI, so thought I should get in the lower range before undergoing plastics.

The consults I've gone to in person, the surgeons said "NOOO, don't lose more!", so I was wondering what size I'd be after as well.

I'm a loose fitting 12 jeans now (and the tightest is my straight, boyish waist - not much hips, butt or thighs) and would like to go down a size or two, but see another post on here where she went from a 12 to a 3!

May I ask what size you are now, and what you want to be post plastics?

Thank you everyone for your responses. Right now I am between a size 8 and 10 and I would love to be about a size 6. I have probably around 10 lbs of fat and skin to be removed around my middle and then there will be a breast lift too, so I'm thinking I will go down about a size in my breast hopefully not more then just one size down as I am used to having large breast so I'm looking to be a big B or small C after breast lift.  If I go any smaller then that I will probably want to get implants.

It depends on how much skin or skin with fat that you have so that will vary. If you have about 3 pounds of skin chances are you won't change sizes. That said, I had about 10 pounds removed and went from a 12 to an 8.

I went from an 8 to a 6, but I can still wear my size 8 clothes too with a belt. Good Luck!

 

I was a size 6 before LBL/Brachio and now I am a loose sz 4. My PS removed 6.5lbs of skin during surgery. I had lost over 8lbs when I weighed in at about 4 1/2 wks post op. Will be having a full thigh lift and breast lift on 6/1 so I'm waiting to buy clothes to see what size I will end up.

Wow sandi, you did awesome!  I am 4 weeks out and up 2 lbs!!!  I was up 7 lbs a few weeks after surgery.  I am still swollen, but not drastically.  I can only get into a few of my size 6's, still wearing sweats and pajamas most days.  I know it just takes time!!  But wow, 8 lbs, that must feel awesome!!  Robin
