That's one of the things I miss about living outside of a large city (Washington DC)...access to teaching hospitals. In my humble (but educated...I'm a nurse) opinion, the care CANNOT be beaten! It's always cutting edge, most up-to-date procedures, etc.

Had my RNY at GW and had everyone from med students to fellows involved in my care under the supervision of my wonderful surgeon Dr. Lin. Funny thing: I had emergency surgery in my local community hospital years later and found out the doc who did it was a surgical resident at GW during the time of my RNY...said he PROBABLY saw me as a post-op at some point! While in the ER (before I knew this) I even said to my DH "that guy looks familiar". Small world!!

Hi,

Finished with weightloss, could you please send some info my way.   Interested in Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Michigan and Florida.  If there is a master list for th US I would love to have that, as I prefer to have it done in the US, and could travel anywhere really.
Thank you!

i am looking into one at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans. They have one and I need to go in for a consult to get all the prices. From what I understand they work with the Tulane School of Medicine and the School told me you pay the school a paperwork fee of $50 and then you are responsible for hospital cost. I had a friend get a bunch of work there years ago and had a great experience.

Can you send me some contact information for this program and I will add it to the list.  I do have a listing for Tulane but not for Ochsner.

Thanks

Red

Ochsner is just the hospital that Tulane uses
