How did you choose a surgeon out of the USA?

FYI ~ It wasn't just the cost that has me leaving the country. It is the follow up care. Here in CA - theywould have sent me home the next day - there - I will have a nurse 24/7 for 2 full weeks. She changes dressing, bathes me, DOES THE LAUNDRY TWICE A WEEK (that alone is worth the price of admission) and all meals are included.

Plus - we're on 80 acres next to a rain forest!!
