Is this quote for a TT and lift outrageous?!

So I'm going in for a tummy tuck with lipo and a breast lift and augmentation in a few weeks...

I don't mind paying a premium since I'm using such a great plastic surgeon - but the total cost is about $27,000 - does this seem reasonable?!

Thanks for your thoughts,

Kristen

Whoa. I don't know what effect the location counts but I'm having the exact same thing and mine is $14,500.

Be happy.

I paid a little over $10,000.00 for an LBL and got a quote for breast lift and augmentation plus brachioplasty which would have been $13,000.00.  So, Yep, I'd say your PS is a little higher priced than most.  He should be giving you a discount for having them done together, if nothing else.  If you're going in a few weeks, I'm assuming you've already booked?  Is it too late to look around?

Seems high to me...I had the TT (extended) with lipo, scar revision and breast lift for $13,500.

I know it varies regionally; but unless you're in Beverly Hills (even if you are), I think it's a bit steep. Is that all inclusive (surgi-center, anesthesia, meds, labs, garments, etc.)?

I did already book, but that doesn't mean anything!

I'm in downtown Boston and I'm having the head of plastic surgery at MGH (Mass General Hospital) doing my surgery.

Yes, that price is all inclusive!!!

Thanks for your posts!

Is he doing the surgery at Mass General? If so that's why it's so high. Surgery always costs way more done at a hospital as opposed to a surgical facility. If he's not doing it at the hospital then I say it's WAY over priced no matter who he is.

I had the option of doing the surgery at Mass General or at his private facility, I opted for the private facility - although the costs are the same.

I did find out that this price does include all of the after-care, follow-ups, etc. for life?!  Although I hope I don't have any problems!

AHHHHHHH, I hope I didn't make a bad decision!

It's more than double what I paid for the same exact procedures.
