I would love to know which compression sleeve you were using?

I was in ace bandages for about 3 or 4 days. Then nothing until I went in for my 1st check up about 10 days out. Then they put me in compression garments. I really liked them, felt comfortable and I could see a better result w/ the incision flattening out.

It's one that I got from my Dr's office, they ordered it for me. It's called Flex Support style #2081. They have a website that's fstubbs.com

Thanks everyone!  I'm in the month countdown and getting all my ducks in a row.  I'll find out which my doc prefers when I see him but I just like to get that hands on from those who have been there, done that!

Which one did you wear.  Just trying to get an idea of what's out there and worked for others.

Hey Michelle,

Dr. Agha uses Ace bandages and you should wear those for three weeks.  They were a pain to wear but felt so much better than going without.  I cheated and wore them for two weeks and then switched to a compression garment, which I wore to bed at night for nearly six months (didn't really have to, but just got used to wearning it and it really kept all my swelling down.

Good luck with your surgery.  Let me know if you have any questions or need anything.  I'll be with Dr. Agha on May 24 (two weeks) and in LA for that following week.  When's your surgery?

Aww, thanks for the avitar compliment... : )

I'm coming into town Sun May 23 and leaving Sun May 30.  I probably should've arranged my schedule to get down there earlier for the OH conference, but didn't even think about it.

I'm getting my thighs revised (more skin pulled up) with lipo.  Dr. Agha told me beforehand I'd probably need this, and I do.  Top 2/3 of my thighs still look great, but the bottom 1/3 are sagging around my knees.  He's also going to move up the front of my LBL scar, which for some reason either fell down or was made too low to begin with (it's lower than any swimsuit or undies would go) and revise about 1" scar on each of my arms.  UGH.. can't believe I'm going back.. in many ways I don't feel ready, but in others I just want to get this overwith and be done.   I'm in the lovely phase of choking down that god-awful ProCare... yuck, yuck, yuck!!

Are you only haveing your arms done this time around?
