Have you asked your surgeon about paying the difference between the panniculectomy and the full TT?

I ram into the asme issue and actually had a hard enough time getting insurance to pay for the panni removal.  But I had it done this past monday and of coarse right now I feel deformed...I am swollen and bruised, and sore, but it isn't as bad as the bypass pain.  I checked with the PS and the tummy tuck was another 8-9 thousand and I am doing it not to be "skinny", just so that i cn get something to fit me.  Good luck..add me to your friend list and we can go through the journey together!!

I had my panni removed 5 weeks ago.... when I first saw the endresult, I started crying!!!  This was the first time in my life that I have no more belly hanging down over my mons, resting on my legs.

I am sooo very happy with the results!!

insurance did not pay a penny, it was all selfpay, and after debating over an hour with surgeon and his assistant, I decided to opt for lipo also, to even things out above the belly buttom, and also lipo of the flanks.  (love handles)

I might never be as perfect as the full TT's in here, but I am super happy with the way I look now!

best wishes for your upcoming surgery, KC

also, if you have issues in/with the mons area, like boils/pimples, whatever, or your skin is saggy and kind of looks fat, ask the PS to take care of that... if she didn't already plan that in.
