scheduled a LBL and question

 I had to schedule a long way out but I am scheduled. July 19.  I am ready to have it over with. I wi**** were sooner but at least its gonna get done.

My question is did your butt shape change and can you still rear low rise pants or did it raise the split too much? The doc said it might be higher after surgery. I am not having augmentation just a lift unless they decide to get fancy. I am using a resident program.

Initially I had no butt at all, very flat. To my surprise about 4 months later a guy told me I had a really nice butt (I was thinking I still had none. Now I can see more of a definition. I can wear low rise pants w/o a problem. Also wore bikinis w/o a problem to the split being too high. Really happy w/ the outcome, would do it again in a heartbeat.

I have never liked my butt.   I'm almost 4 months out from my LBL now and get TONS of compliments on it.  My hubby LOVES it!!  I still think it just looks like a butt...but apparently other people really notice it.  I have no problems with low rise jeans either.  I really don't notice a difference in the "crack' at all.  I think that depends on a good surgeon though.  I have seen two people who have posted their photos and it was OBVIOUSLY too high.  But as long as you have a good surgeon who has done lots of LBLs, I wouldn't worry about it!

Your doctor is the best to tell you if he thinks you will end up with a flat butt. If you have a flat butt now then you will most likely still have a flat butt after the LBL. I know some women who have even ended up with a flatter butt to where it looks like it caves in some. Now the high butt crack can pose a problem for some. It depends on how long it is now. If they pull it up too high then it will appear longer and if they don't pull it up enough then you will most likely end up with a little sag in the lower butt. I would much rather have a little saggy butt than the other. I had the auto butt augmentation so I think that also help push my butt out as opposed to pulling it straight up if that makes sense. Ask your doctor and see what he says. Like txAngela said, if you have a good dr and share your concerns beforehand, you shouldn't have any problems. Most drs take pride in their work and do want you to have a good outcome so I think you will be fine!

After my LBL my butt seems flatter than before, but it was never plump. I have no problem with the low rise pants either.

My only problem is with no fat or extra skin left, I have a hell of a time keeping up my pants. I do not leave home without my belt..

The surgery itself is not fun but is well worth it in the end. They removed 25lbs of skin taking me from a size 8 to a 2!

I agree with the girls, it depends on your surgeon. My surgeon did my whole incision very low so my crack is exactly where it was before. My butt is nice and smooth and defined but, I always have had a butt so I'm not surprised that I still have one. It is slightly flatter at the bottom but still looks nice and the little bit of flatness is not noticable to anyone but me. I'm very happy with my LBL and would do it again in a heartbeat!
