Tummy tuck in 3 weeks
Hi everyone,
I had RNY in January 2008 and hit my goal by fall 2008. Since then, my weight has fluctuated by 10 lbs. Overall, I'm very pleased with my results.
I just received word today that I am going for my tummy tuck in three weeks. I have been very slack in my exercise regime since last summer. I started my long walks again about a month ago, and started jogging today (before I got the call from my plastic surgeon).
I thought I had all summer to get "ready" for my surgery. I started crunches and pushups today, and planned to start my pilates video again. Now I'm worried because I have only three weeks to get my body "ready".
Does anyone have any tips for me? Should I focus on my abs before surgery (and gosh, I really wanted to drop 10 more lbs!).
I haven't been around the boards in a long time. I have started eating more protein again and would like to get away from the carbs. Old, but not necessarily "bad" habits, have crept up over the past 2 years and I want to keep my tool working. I can basically eat anything, but sometimes get a feeling of being really drunk, even if I have had no alcohol.
Anyway, I'd like to stay around the boards, both here and at the RNY board again. If you have any thoughts, I'd really like to hear them!
