Trapped Gas in Garment

Ok I know this sounds crazy but the other day I had a sharp pain in the buttocks when the nurse zipped me up.  She unzipped and tried again a few minutes later.  She told me it was a gas pocket from the garment.  Well I keep getting these pains in the same place (nothing was done back there).  Has anyone else heard of this?  Thanks, Toni

I experienced it myself.  Towards the end of the day when I was at the peak of swelling from being up and about all day long, I felt gas being trapped by the tightness of my garment.  I would unzip it until I could pass the gas or feel it move along, then zip myself back up.  It lasted for about 2 weeks post-op.  I did have an LBL, but your intestines/bowel can fill up with gas and cause you to feel pain in your back as well as high up under your breasts.  I also would walk around the block to help move the gas along.  Good Luck, and don't worry.
