6 mos post bypass and too much skin

Hey everyone,
Well I am 6 mos out and so far the only major issue was getting a small ulcer which I believe has healed. I have been steadily losing weight and for this first time in over 10 years I am within reach of my 1st weight loss goal. See I set a first weight loss goal, a weight that I could be comfortable living at if I couldn't lose anymore. I figure once there I will reevaluate where I am and if I want to lose a little more. Here is my main issue. I have all this extra skin and it is horrible. I hate the way it looks and I almost wish I was still "fat" than there would be a reason to look like this. (I said almost lol) I know that so much of my health has gotten better since the surgery and I am truly proud of all that I have already accomplished. I am within 30 pounds of goal and I swear the extra skin weighs about that much itself. I am working out as much as I can but there is so much that I know it won't get rid of it all.

When do you start looking for plastic surgeons and will they do it when you are this close to goal? I also have BMC Healthnet and I would love to know if anyone was able to get their insurance to help cover the plastic surgery. I don't think I can live in this body for years longer. I have worked so hard and I just want it to show on the outside as well. Want the outside to match my inside. I would appreciate any help and support you could offer. Thanks
Tammy
