Hi..I am from MA also..where is your surgery?  Mine is at St. Vincent's in worcester.  I have no advice except everyone that I know that has had this would do it again.  My surgery is day surgery...which surprises me!!  Good luck and keep me posted.  I am new to this site!

Ugh, back to back....I can't imagine! I had everything done in one day (extended TT, breast lift, lipo, scar revision) and spent one night in the surgi-center.

I honestly wouldn't bring ANYTHING other than what they TELL you to bring (I had to bring oral meds from home) and lipbalm....I had a bag full of magazines, a few snacks, etc. and used NONE of it. Especially if your surgeries are on two different days, you will be under the effects of anesthesia a LOT of the time.

GOOD LUCK.

I haven't had mine yet; the first is scheduled for 5/28 the second is 6/25.  My surgeon did not want to do them closer together than 5 weeks.  That being said - only take what they tell you.  You can check the hospital or surgery center for a website to see if they list things there.

If you're going to be in for a couple days, the one thing I would suggest (and this is based on my stay for a hysterectomy) was a small backpack that I kept everything I needed.  It was small enough that it was by my side and if I needed to put it away when I left the room to walk, I could easily put it in a drawer out of sight.
