Liposuction is no joke!!!

I had major liposuction on my back 9 weeks ago and the pain/discomfort is no joke.  I slept without my compression garment one night this week and the next morning I could barely get out of bed.   The pain was truly unbearable for me.  Take it from me, do not believe doctors or anyone else who tells you lipo is easy.  My tummy tuck was less painful than my liposuction.

I for one am always screaming from the roof top that lipo is very tough on the body.
I makes you swell worse, it can cause hard lumps under your skin when healing, it takes much much much longer for the swelling to leave and to heal.  It really takes a toll on the body!!!
Mercifully I only had to have it on my inner thighs....I'm convinced this is the major reason my swelling is a million times worse than any other procedure.

Totally agree!! I had extended TT with lipo to abdomen and flanks, bypass scar revision, and breast lift and by FAR the most discomfort comes from the lipo sites! And the numbness...I hate that too.

I didn;t have lipo with any of my procedures and I am so glad, because I am sure that's why my recoveries have been such a breeze. I know some truely need it and I feel for them. Hope you are feeling better soon.

I'm thinking of having major lipo.  Do you like your results?  I know it will take months to know for sure.

I love the results on My back thus far, but I am looking forward to the final results.  Now I must be honest and say the liposuction on my inner thighs did not give me the results I thought it would.

I am considering lipo on my back. What is the average cost? By the way I had my extended tummy tuck in November and it is looking good.

My doctor charges 2500 for liposuction.

I am have my surgeries on May 25th - TT with lipo - & brachioplasty with lipo. Is it so painful that you want you cry - do pain meds help at all?? As each day passes & I get closer - I keep reading about all the pain with the lipo.

Is it worth it?? I need lipo to get the look I want . . . . .sigh . . . .
