I had my ext. tummy tuck two wks ago. my thighs feel quite swollen and hurt really bad. I know im pushing the abdominal swelling to them is there something i can do so it doesn't hurt to put my undies on?

Compression should help. My PS is going to put me in compression to my ankles for my LBL. You should elevate and move as much as possible and if none of this helps call the doctor.

What kind of compression garment are you wearing?

Mine goes to just below my knees and as such has helped avoid the leg swelling.

If your garment is not the type that includes your legs, I would try to get one and/or elevate your legs as much as possible.

You might try massaging your legs, including your groin area, to be sure the lymph is moving well.

Same thing happened to me after my TT.
Put on a compression garment ...one that ends just above your knees.  Make sure it fits tight enough to give you the compression you need but not so tight that you cannot breathe!
Within 2-3 days my thighs were back to normal BUT you have to still keep wearing it after that or the swelling comes back.  I wore mine for the full 3 months after surgery and never had swelling issues after that.

Best wishes....feel better soon!

Mine went down to my knees which I wore for a couple of months. I really didn't have swelling in my legs for very long but that may have been because of the garment. It's worth a try to see if you see any improvement. I bet it helps!
