Thank You All. Not very many PS's around this area. I'm going to keep looking, possibly even going out of country.
I don't have much patience just wanted to get this show on the road.
But, guess I'll just have to get over it and wait.
Took me years to get like this I'll just have to take the time to turn back the clock. Lol
hope everyone has a great weekend!

Pam,

While I thinks it's preferable to be close to your surgeon after these procedures, we  do get some patients come see us in Birmingham from Hattiesburg (~230 miles) if you'd like to come over for a visit. Whatever you look like, I can tell you we've seen someone more difficult!

Like the others have said - consider yourself lucky.  When I was looking for a plastic surgeon, I made sure their portfolios had a lot of before/after pictures of body contouring photos and how well they turned out.

I wasn't about to trust a plastic surgeon with very little experience in body contouring.  It doesn't do them any good to take a chance on me and it certainly does not do me any good!

Also, if they couldn't pre-screen you over the phone first and give you the heads up that you may not be a candidate for the surgeon and that your consultation fee was non-refundable I'm sure you would not have made the appointment.

FWIW, I found my surgeon through the Find a Surgeon link on this site.

That's it I asked questions, he does the LBL and they knew I'd had WLS.
I am happy I found he wasn't confident enough in his own surgical skills to take on my surgery. I don't feel I have to be perfect, just comfortable in my own skin and clothes.
