Question for those who had a breast lift and no implants.

Leah you look fabulous and have been great about sharing your journey. It is good to hear that you are happy with just the lift and I hope that the same will be true for me. It's great to know that implants are an option but if I can be happy with just a lift that would be great. I would be ecstatic if I could buy shirts in the right size and not have to have them tailored. T-shirts and casual shirts are not such a big deal but business clothing has to fit properly and that means a lot of tailoring for me. Especially jackets, blazers, and button up shirts. I do look forward to dressing my whole body and not dressing around my breasts.

Exactly - I used to have to buy 2x shirts just to fit my breasts. It made me bigger than I was even though I was still big. I feel proportionate.

I think you hit the nail on the head about it making you bigger or disproportionate. I think as long as I have the big breasts I will feel bigger than I actually am. It still shocks me when someone calls me skinny because I am looking in the mirror and all I can see is big boobs.
Ahh well I am excited about this stage of the journey and just hope that all goes well.

I felt that way with my stomach skin. HUGE even though I weighed 141. It was awful. That skin gone - down 11ish pounds and from a 12 to a 4-6 makes me feel good about my body for the first time ever.

I had a lift, no implants. I am happy with the way they look and the size but may think about implants in the future because there isn't much fullness on the top part of the breast. I started out a DDD or DD and ended up a D to DD. They look fantastic, just was so used to really big breasts, it was a little hard to get used to but I feel so good now, a few months later.

I'm glad you posted. I'm having "just" a lift in late August and will be going from a 36 G (what I'm wearing now - was a 44G/H at my highest weight) down to a C according to my surgeon. Seems so small compared to where I have been and my poor husband looked really sad when I told him but I think that they will be proportionate to my new figure as I'm having an extended TT the same day. I used to be a 36C/D in late high school/early university so I think it will be good but still seems small from where I sit right now. (Although I think my back & shoulders will be MUCH happier - I am now in physio therapy because my posture is so affected by my big boobs).
