Question for those who had a breast lift and no implants.
Both of the surgeons I've been with said they WOULD NOT do implants at the same time as my breast lift- that it would be just asking for trouble with me. I'm super glad that I didn't go that route. I was originally a 56DDD at my highest weight then a 34DD after losing it ... and after surgery for the breast lift, I'm now about a 32D or perhaps a 32C after swelling. It's super cool with me - I don't want to be big!

440/140/149 hw/cw/gw - 5'5" -300lbs -- bmi 73.2 to 24.8 :) GOAL MET 10/26/10!!.... Even made 140 September 2012. Been ranging 4-6lbs from 144-146 since then. Back to 140 December 2012, hoping to see it again after I feel better and start working out.
It will totally depend on the person but when I saw my surgeon for my consult he told me that in his experience, many of the women who plan a lift and implants in two surgeries often decide they are happy with just the lift and don't go ahead with the implants.
Like you, I lost most of my breast tissue. I was never big breasted to begin with but I was very sad that after a lift I'd be a A. I decided to get small implants and I am very pleased with the results.

I am a DDD now and was told I would end up with about a B. I figure I will likely skip the implants and if later down the road I am really uphappy, I will go back...or perhaps get some impants to a C. i dont know. my first bra was a C cup, so I know what you mean. I have always been large chested! Its such a strange feeling to think about being a B cup. I have pretty wide shoulders and am tall so I worry about how I will look too.
Hi Missy,
I am really glad that the option to go back and get implants is available. I am tall (5'10")but all my doctors say that without the excess skin I actually have a small frame. I can wear a men's small shirt but it is real snug in the chest and my friends refer to me as "tits on a stick". In women's sizes I can wear a 10 if the material stretches bu non stretch I have to get a 12/14 and then have it tailored to fit.
Maybe an A cup won't be a bad thing and it would actually save me money on tailoring, lol.

I have a friend who was a D before her DS, more like a small C before her lift, and ended up an A after. Her biggest complaint is that the top of her breast are a bit "concave" - nice and high, but kinda ski-jumpy I guess. Her surgeon recommended implants but she didn't go for it. Now she says she might.
This concerns me - but I don't really want implants either. I go for my first consult soon - so I guess I'll see what he says!

I was always a DD and wanted just a lift. He told me I'd be a big B or small C. Afterwards he said I may later want implants. Victoria Secrets says they are a 36C and JcPenney said 34DD. I am happy. I feel that they look good with my small frame. I can wear many small shirts and couldn't if they were bigger.
