How long does the pain last?

I'm about to have BL/BA and a tummy tuck. How long will i be totally miserable? Your experiences please. I'm taking two weeks off work and would like to not miserable the entire time but will if i must

I recently had similar surgeries and was never truely "miserable". I took the prescription pain meds for about a week, then switched over to OTC. I took OTC probably for another 5 days or so.  I am currently 2+ weeks post-op and not having pain per se; I am just SORE. Sore from the bruising that came along with (I think) the lipo; sore from the stretching feeling I get each time I stand; sore from the backache that comes with weakened/healing abdominal muscles. I absolutely HATE wearing these compression garments but am SO GLAD my surgeon gave me the go ahead to remove them at night for sleeping; I had a decent night's sleep the last two nights, which helps.
