I heard... is it true?
Is it true that you lose your arm pit hair when you have an arm lift?
Is it true that a deep chemical peel will also serve as electrolysis in that it reduces facial hair?
Is it true that you lose a good bit of your bikini line hair when you have a mons lift and so you won't need to do the pre-swimsuit waxing?
Is it true that lipo is the most painful procedure?

I have no idea about the hair issues; but I'm here to tell you that the bruises from my lipo ARE the most painful part of my extended TT, scar revision, lipo of abdomen and flanks, and breast lift. I'm 2+ weeks out and it STILL hurts. I'm told the pain and numbness can last for WEEKS!
UGH!
UGH!

I have almost no armpit hair left after my extended brachioplasty -- about 5 hairs on each side.
And lipo is VERY VERY painful, and for a long time. I am almost 6 months out from my facelift and brachioplasty, and I still have a LOT of numbness/sensitivity, including my ears, cheeks and neck, some of my forearms and across my upper shoulders, back and chest. Very annoying.

About the hair, and different procedures.
The only time I know that you can lose the hair such as in the armpits or mons area, is if the skin with the hair follicles is actually cut out during the surgery. I've talked to a surgeon that said not only my hair follicles, but sweat glands could be taken out of my pits with a brachioplasty. Ask each surgeon if that's how they do it, as it varies.
I'm wondering if you mean a laser type facial, rather than a chemical peel. I have had laser facials, and yes, it killed the hairs. It works best if you have lighter skin, and darker hairs. They did not laser over eyebrows because of this.

LOL...it happened to me.....it's because the skin gets pulled around where hair normally doesn't grow...I have 1 hair that comes out in my left pit and none on my right.
I also don't sweat like I used to, never a big sweaty person but I did need to wear antiperspirant...now I don't need to anymore. Funny isn't it. I'm glad about the antiperspirant thing...one less chemical going on my body.
Yes lipo is the worst!! Most painful, causes the most swelling and takes the longest to recover from.
So far as the mons, my surgeon did a fantastic job for me but I'd still do waxing/shaving.
Can't help with the chemical peel question...never had it.

I only lost the armpit hair where the skin was removed since my incision goes down my underarm and to almost under my breast. So for me I only have about half of what I had before.
The excess skin on the top part of my my mons was removed so the hairline stops completely at the incision. Nothing above it which is great. This is individual because it depends on how large your mons is and if you have a lot or a little bit of excess skin. If it's not much then chances are it won't be cut and your hairline will not be affected.
My lipod area was fairly sore the first couple of weeks but nothing that lasted a very long time or unbearable. I guess it depends on how much is lipod and the location but it wasn't that bad for me. I'm 7 weeks out and haven't had pain in my lipod areas for a few weeks. It's the swelling after lipo that bugs me (not hurt) more than any pain I've had.
