Drinage infection

I am ok. Came Thur the surgery great 7 hours and came home that night.  Had to go into ER one week latter I have an infection in one of my drainage tubes . Taking antibiotics but the infection is oozing out around the tube very gross and smells.  Felling very depressed like what the heck have I done to myself. Having bathroom problems too despite stool softeners and prunes. Dr said she did not need to see me unless I spike a fever again than call other wise come in Wed for my apt.  Will they take the drainage tube out if I have infection or will they leave it in? The infection is kinda purple and ***** smells so very bad any thoughts on help with the smell.

Sorry for your issues !  Ongoin drainage and foul odor may indicate afluid collection that nneds to be drained.  Keep you doc posted.
