Glad it went well....and good luck.

A couple things to not be without:

--compression garment
--ABD pads or gauze for when they take the drains out; they will still leak after removal until the hole heals
--stool softners, fiber, mild laxative; YES, the Rx pain meds WILL cause constipation
--something you can drink from while lying down; either a water bottle, or have plenty of bendie straws
--high protein snacks to aid wound healing
--a recliner to sleep in the first days/week
