Hi,  I woke up Monday and had some swelling under my arm pit on my right side and at my drain site on my left both being sore.
I drove my self to the urgent care at JPS where, because it was so early they got right to me.
I have a knack for showing my appreciation it it really help at the county hospital.
They took a blood tests, then had the surgeon come an look at it and did he ever go to work.
He cut open some of the areas and squeezed out puss and infection while I just laid there and took it, He said I have a great tolerance for pain, I said no I'm just a real good liar LOL
He then cleaned out everything very well and put in the open areas, some micro-biotic ribbon, wrapped my arms in crulex gauze and gave me some antibiotic and pain prescriptions and gave me a follow up.
Since then I've stayed on my butt and just tended my arms, being kind to my self.!!!!
By the next morning it was already better and today they are right on track. I also bought an Under Armour compression shirt that doesn't bind under the arms and also wicks away the moisture.
I go see my Pcp Saturday, and see how I'm doing. Bard

Wow - glad the Dr knew what to do and took care of it quickly.  Did he say what caused it to become infected?

I feel like I didn't get enough rest, and probably not enough antibiotics, even though I took them exactly as directed, I learned that about them. and may be ace bandages cutting into and rollong causing more harm than good.
*****ally knows? I just know that the second something doesn't look right or hurts get right then and there to the Dr. Bard
