It doesn't hurt to have your drains removed, but you may feel it moving as they ease it out.  It is normal for your stomach to feel hard and stretched.  Good luck, Loris

I had mine on the 6th & just had 2 of my 3 drains removed yesterday.  1 of them I felt it moving through me as the nurse pulled it out -- I wouldn't say it hurt, it was just weird.  The 2nd one took a second & I didn't feel a thing.

I've had some itching, but mostly it's been just because of wearing the binder all the time.  The majority of my itching is from my BL/BA & yesterday since they removed the sutures they itch like mad.

But it's all part of the healing.

Good luck with your healing & don't worry about the tubes.
