Seroma under nipple?

Hey there my OH family. I haven't been on lately but was wondering if others have had a seroma under the nipple and if so when did you see it go away? I am almost 5 months out and I still have a small one under my left breast, noticable when nipple is not 'hard'. My surgeon said it would eventually re-absorb as my PCP did back at about 4 weeks out. But now that I am 5 months I am a little worried it wont go away by itself. This chi-chi is definately more delicate than the other to the touch but does not 'hurt' per se. I will send email to my PS but wanted to poll you all.

Hi Tammy!
Sorry you are having this happen especially at this stage in the game.  Sorry I can't give you any input 'cause it has not happened to me but just wanted to say hello and hope you feel better soon.
Have a nice summer

I live in Panama Central America and here the PS believe highly in massage and ultrasound massage after surgery. I had total hysterectomy, tummy tuck and full body lipo and haven't had any swelling or problems.

Very important to wear the compression garment

Massage the area (if you can by a professional if not do it yourself) I don't know about massaging the breast because I haven't ever had them done. I do circular massage in the area I feel getting hard or lumpy and you feel it go down and the soreness goes away.

Hope this helps, but if your plastic says it will go away he is probably right. We all heal differently, everyone told me how awful i was going to feel and I felt no pain past discomfort and have been healing quickly.

Can you have it drained? Then wear a CG for a while?

I used a hand held massager on my seroma in my right breast and it worked wonders. Along with some antiobotics. Also, mine's drained under the breast and had to be restitched
