LBL question

I know this has been asked before but how does it feel to sit after having the butt lifted. I have had my thighs done and wondered if it compared. It was tough on the toilet but otherwise not to bad. I am seeing a surgeon Thursday and thinking instead of  TT having a LBL instead but am scared of riding home after surgery (its a three hour drive).

I was surprised that I was not at all uncomfortable.  My dricve was only an hour and 10 minutes, but I suspect that well-timed pain meds and a stop or two along the way would get you there with no problems.  I am very happy with my LBL.

It's not how fast you go, but that you're moving in the right direction!

This was a total non-problem, with my LBL.  Not even remotely an issue.  But I live 20 minutes away from the hospital!

I did not have a three hour ride home!  I would say this is potentially a lack-of-mobility and risk-of-blood-clot issue, post-op, though.  I'm wondering if this poses the same kinds of problems that post-op flight has.

Would love to hear from one of the surgeons on this one.

Sitting down wasn't a problem at all and I had the butt auto augmentation with my LBL. The discomfort I felt was from sitting so long for so many days. You aren't sitting on your incisions like you are when you have a thigh lift. It's across the back so a comfy pillow will help with that. I would just make sure you take plenty of pillows with you and time your pain meds just right. You can stop every hour to get out and walk around. You will most likely feel more pain or soreness from the muscle tightening than your backside.

I too never had much of an issue sitting after my LBL 4 weeks ago.  I did have a small pillow and adjusted it along with my seat to get in the most comfortable position for my 35 minute ride home.  My surgeon did suggest  that I take pain medication prior to the ride home.
