hard white dots above scar

I had some hard white dots above my scar (tt done on 2/17) that were driving me crazy!  I took a 15 blade (very tiny surgical blade) and made a tiny dot to get them out.  I guess they were internal stitches, but whatever they were it was driving me nuts!  I got them out on Friday and it is closed up now.  Has anybody else had these come up?

I had brachio/LBL 5 weeks ago...I am starting to spit stitches also...nurse said I could try pulling out with tweezer but if it wouldnt easily come out to just trim them down to skin.

I've spat a stitch or two over the past year of procedures.....I've got a couple right now that are annoying me but I am not going at them with a blade...I'll wait till I see my surgeon in 2 weeks.  You are much braver than I!

I have several spots like that where the internal stitches are sticking out and yes they do poke me all the time.  My surgeon looked at them and just cut them down as close to my skin as possible and said to leave them alone.  He was afraid that pulling them out might cause some areas to open back up.  It's annoying but with all I've been through, I'd rather deal with the poking than to have any more of my thigh incisions open up.
