Hi guys! New to this forum.  I am a gastric bypass patient (8.24.09) 10lbs from goal and am in the process of researching for my breast augmentation.  I am 5'8, currently 163lbs.  Have always had a small chest, even at my heaviest I was a 38B, currently a 34B and barely filling the cup.  I would like to be a 34C and have had a few consultations.  A few of my friends who have had BA have silicone, I am aware of the benefits of saline over silicone but wanted the opinions of those who have had surgery.  Please tell me what you think and how satisfied you are with your results.. Thanks!!

Very happy with my new silicone gummy bear impants...  the best part is they are lifetime, I don't have to go back ever ten years for replacements!!!

I love my silicone implants. Everyone tells me that they are very natural looking and feeling. Just recently hung out w/ another OH person who had saline implants and of course we compared. Her's definately don't feel as natural but she was a little afraid to go w/ silicone but definately preferred the feeling of them compared to the saline she got.

I haven't had surgery yet...June 14th, but I will get silicone. I have 3 neighbors with implants, 2 saline and 1 silicone. The silicone felt more natural and fleshy. I've researched and researched and I'm secure with my choice. Good luck!

I also had silicone and debated that up until the last minute. Only thing is....as most people will say...I wish I had gone bigger.

I'm having the surgery Mid-May and I'm still going back and forth between Silicone and Saline. I wish I could make up my mind.

My sugery is May  25th - I am going with silicone as well. They last a life time - & they do not leak!

Good luck!!

I just had a consultation with the top guy in town.  He says that with the silicone you should have an MRI every two years to check to ensure they are still OK.  He said that they feel more natural and are a good choice but are also more expensive than the saline.
