That's what I'm thinking. I live in Az. Summers are very hot but it doesn't really start to get humid until end of July. August and September are when it's really humid. Even with that, I'm going in for round 2 on Jun 1st for breast lift and full thigh lift. My 25th wedding anniversary is the 22nd of June and I want to be done with the plastics by then. I'm praying the humidity isn't gonna turn me into a puffer fish! lol! I will let you know how my weigh in goes. I'm debating on weighing in this Saturday or waiting until I'm 1 month post op .I'm chicken!

Hi Angela,
Well, I did it. I weighed myself last Saturday and I had lost 8.6lbs since surgery! I was shocked! I'm still swollen and I haven't been lifting weights for four weeks (so I must have some muscle loss) so I know it's not accurate but I'm shocked just the same. I still haven't put on my pre-op jeans (because I'm chicken) so I don't know how they fit. I will weigh in again next week and see if it is just a fluke. Will let you know.

VSG on 01/29/09

AWESOME!! See...your body is burning so many calories just healing that it's making up for not being able to exercise! You'll know when your body is ready to start up again. In the past week, my swelling has gone down noticeably...I'm still afraid it's a fluke too!! I'm down 2.5 lbs of what I think is pure swelling. It's so nice. My belly is still bigger in the evening if I'm active all day...but not nearly as bad as it was. I'm really starting to get excited...but trying not to get TOO excited just yet!! And you are too funny on the pre-op jeans! Hang in there...it does start to go away.. and we will be looking fabulous!!

LapBand 8/2007 - Lost 90 lbs
Band removed and Sleeved (VSG) 1/2009 - Lost 70+ lbs
Round 1 plastic surgery - LBL and BL with Dr. Lomonaco - 1/2010 - 15 lbs sliced off!

Total lost to date: 181 lbs!! Wearing petite size 6s and 8s!!

I'm so happy to read that you have had a swelling breakthrough. That is awesome! I'm sure it's not a fluke. You are probably just to that point that everyone gets to eventually, where the swelling starts to go away for good and your get the REAL body you paid for. LOL! That is so exciting and encouraging! I can't wait to get there myself. I have my 2nd round of plastics coming up on the 1st of June so I will be starting all over again but with my thighs and breasts this time. I hope it doesn't cause more swelling in my abdomen! We just need to try to remember that all of it is just temporary and one day soon swelling will be just a memory and as you said we will be looking FABULOUS! So happy for you. Keep me posted. your looking really good. I like the way that your doctors did your arms.

he did not go to far into the arm pits? my doctors did not really go into my arms pits, I can move a little bit better. Your tt looks wonderful.

My incisions in my armpits go just above where my bra sits on the side. They are almost the length of my armpit. I keep forgetting to take pictures. I will have my hubby do that today and I will post them.
