For Those Who Left the Country for Your Surgeries ~
I'm going to Costa Rica for a tt, arm lift (both with lots of lipo) & a BA. DH & I will be staying 2 weeks after the procedures.
What type of follow up instructions did your PS give you?? My PCP is supporting me - but I'm just curious what your PS told you as for as exercise, wound care, lifting weights, garments, etc.
I had my gall bladder out here in CA about a year ago & I saw my surgeon 1 time for about 5 minutes after the procedure. Never saw her again. Of course PS is different - so when you got home - what did you do??
Thanks!!
Linda
I just left Monterrey yesterday. Basically my instructions were don't do much of anything for 6 weeks except wear binders 24/7, walk some, and take it easy. If anything goes haywire I'm supposed to email him right away (include pics if needed) and he'll guide me from there. My pcp is my back up if my surgeon feels I need to be seen by someone.

During my two day stay at the clinic I had IV painkillers and antibiotics. Then he sent me to the hotel with a boxes of pain meds and antibiotics. I took the antibiotics for 8 days. I never even opened the pain meds. I took 1 tylenol and 1 tylenol pm each night and that was all I needed.

PS _ I had breast lift w/ aug, arm lift (full revision), anchor cut (revision), and full thigh lift.

Hey Lady,
I am home and it's been 2 weeks since surgery. I am really pleased with my arms. The diff is remarkable! My boobs look amazing and my stomach looks so much better. I think we're going to have to do a revision on the thighs. They are still a little big, but they were SO huge to begin with I thought before he even operated it may require 2 surgeries. He couldn't fit the excess skin from one thigh in both his hands! I am really happy that I chose Dr. Sauceda and do not hesitate going back to him when the time is right.
