I was approve for a  panniculectomy but that wont help the pain from the skin I feel from upper part of my stomach.
I was just wondering if anyone has fought for a tummy tuck with Kaiser.

I actually do not know anyone who has been approved for a panni from No. Cal Kaiser.  They do them all the time down here, and it is easy to be approved, but if you want a full tummy tuck, you have to pay the difference.

If you have a hernia, they will repair that, and can combine the two.  As you probably know, the panni removal is really all that most places consider to be medically necessary, but that doesn't include muscle repair or relocation of belly button or take into consideration the cosmetic issues or the dog ears.  I don't know anyone who has won the case for a tummy tuck, but you might ask about the upper skin with the plastic surgeon and see what they have to say.

I have a friend who was approved for a panni when she had so cal kaiser and moved up north and it was denied.  There have been others here that have not been able to get anywhere with a panni up north.

Good luck, and let us know what happens!  Many could be helped if you can get the case to go through.
