surgery cancelled @last minute

 My revision surgery was cancelled at the last minute by the doctor so I am bummed out. I do have an appointment in two weeks to schedule a TT and lower face lift so maybe they can fix the rest at the same time. I am waiting to see how my doctor responds to make things right before I blast him. Has this happened to anyone else?

How disappointing for you!  Did he cancel because you are not ready (i.e. something in your blood work), or maybe he had an emergency???
Did they at least give you a new date for whatever you were going to have done?

 He was overbooked and since I was a revision I was booted even though I had scheduled four weeks out. I see a new doctor next time. They waited until three hours before surgery to cancel.

Wow Susie, how disappointing. I have to wonder though there might have been something happen earlier in the day with another surgery that took longer than anticipated? Have they done other things like this or was this the first time?

I once had my surgery delayed - I came in early for a 10 am surgery - and didn't get into the operating room until 5 pm. they did offer me the chance to stay or come back another day. Mine was a hysteroscopy, D&C and stuff and the delay was due to two emergency deliveries.
